Homogenization of Thought
Homogenized thinking refers to ideas or thoughts becoming extremely similar and lacking variety. One MIT study found that students who used AI to write were more likely to come to the same conclusion, and they failed to actually go deep in their writing. Additionally, there was little to no diversity in how they thought and approached their writing. These students exhibited less brain activity, and 80% of them were unable to quote a sentence from their work. The students who used AI also felt little connection to pride in their work.
